Food

Food - that one thing that we have too much and yet not properly distributed in the world When I go to school to eat those delicious set meals that you can see below, I can’t help but feel a slight tinge of pity for those folks who are facing poverty and unable to eat a decent meal. Also, I read an article recently on the newspaper that the employees at Google were treated free to gourmet meals just to discourage them for going to cafeteria for lunch and encourage to increase their productivity by staying at their cubicle (not sure if it works). This led me to think that sometimes food is overrated. We have chefs cooking up gourmet meals and food critics tasting and giving their opinions for a living. And yet, halfway around the world, there are people in Africa who are starving and yet cannot afford to eat a roll of bread. This makes me kinda feel guilty even time I eat those gourmet dishes below. I guess the only thing I alleviate my guilt a little is not to waste any food and throw them into the bin.

Saba Udon - One of newly acquired favourite dish. I never expected the fish to be so fresh and succulent. The fish is soft and tender...

Seafood Spaghetti - Another great dish where you can find plenty of squids, prawns and fish and even mussel...the spaghetti is baked so that the cheese is evenly spread out.

Chicken Bento Set - Looks ok and appetising, however taste ordinary and my friend doesn't like the rice...too cold

Chicken chop - Nope, this dish doesn't come with fries, instead it comes with baked potatoes. The potatoes are quite good. However, my friend thinks that the chicken is undercooked (urgh!)...oh the rice is not included in this dish...he stole it from somewhere...lol
