Woah, last night I watched Blades of Glory starring Jon Heder and Will Farrell. I must say that I really didn’t expect myself to laugh so hard at the parodies and jokes that are being shown. Staying out late with your friends and watching a late night movie can be tough on your social night life, esp if you need a cup of hazelnut latte to keep u awake for hours…

Anyway, back to the show, the synopsis is like this: Trouble occurs when they got into a fight when they were tied for the gold. As a result, both of them were stripped of their titles and disbarred from competing again. However, a loophole in the ruling regulations enables them to compete again as a team in the doubles event – the first male-male team. First of all, I never expected to laugh my socks off at the movie as I thought the movie is boring. The ice-skating scenes were awesome and yet hilarious to watch. The chemistry and interaction between the two co-stars are funny as their characters argue to each other. The spoofs that Will Farrell did as a macho muscular ice-skating champion complement with the spoofs that Jon Heder did as a effeminate ice-skating champion. The way they carry as each other as they practice and synchronise their ice-skating routine was hilarious and funny to watch. The whole cinema crowd laugh like crazy, not to mentioned the deadly Iron Lotus stunt...you have to see it to believe...

New show I am waiting to watch - Fantastic Four and the Rise of Silver Surfer...cool CGI graphics and lotsa action to watch. Like the CGI animation for the Silver Surfer is way cooler than I have seen...also Jessica Alba as Invisible Woman...Hot!

Tried out this new coffee chain at Vivocity - Pacific Coffee. Ordered the tall Hazelnut Latte and the taste is not bad. Quite expensive around the price range of Starbucks which will entice me to buy another round next time. However, the ambience is cool for relaxtion as there are nice comfortable sofas and swings for you to chill out with friends. Cold drinks like Cookies and Cream Chillino are refreshing, however kinda similar to Starbucks Frappacino drinks.

French

Now, exams are over and I am supposed to look for a part-time job. However, I decided to take up learning another new language.

J’apprends Français. Je parle un pur français.

I have immersed myself in the French culture over the past week and must say that it is a lovely subject to learn. I think that it’s easier to learn than Spanish as most of the English words originate from French.

Il y a des monuments célèbre de la France, e.g le musée du Louvre, la tour Eiffel , le château de Versailles, la cathédrale Notre Dame etc…

J’aime French !

I hope someday in the future that I will have the opportunity to go to France and live or work there. I like to use my knowledge of French language to talk to people on the streets, order things…and immersed myself in the culture…

Au revoir
